THIS YEAR’S EDITION

L'Étape du Tour de France

Distance : 170 km
Elevation gain: 5,400 m
Climbs: 4 legendary ascents

This is one of the most demanding editions in recent years. The route stacks four defining Tour de France climbs:

Col de la Croix de Fer, Col du Télégraphe, Col du Galibier, and Col de Sarenne.

Each climb builds on the last. The Croix de Fer sets the rhythm early. The Télégraphe and Galibier combine length and altitude, where pacing becomes critical. The final push to Sarenne comes after hours of accumulated effort, requiring control when fatigue is already high.

Those finishing at the mythical Alpe d’Huez will be rewarded with one of the hardest fought finisher medals in recent year.

L'Étape du Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift

Distance : 121 km
Elevation gain: 3,000 m
Final climb: Mont Ventoux (15.7 km at 8.8%)

The course builds progressively before one defining effort. It opens from Vaison-la-Romaine, heading into the Baronnies with the Col de Propiac, setting the rhythm early. The route then moves through the Rhône Valley vineyards and the Dentelles de Montmirail, where the terrain becomes more irregular.

The difficulty increases through Col de Suzette and Col de la Madeleine, stacking efforts before the final phase.

The last 70 km follow the same roads raced in the Tour de France Femmes the day after, leading to the decisive climb of Mont Ventoux via Bédoin.

The legendary Ventoux climbs comes at the end of the ride: 15.7 km at 8.8% average gradient on exposed roads and often very windy conditions.
